First Generation Suzuki Jimny Production Finally Ends

In Brazil, the fourth-generation model was still offered alongside the third-generation model. In 1997, the Suzuki Jimny's third generation was first made available. The ladder-frame off-roader continued to be produced until 2018 in the majority of the world thanks to modest upgrades and facelifts. Suzuki, though, continued to assemble it in Brazil up until this year. The ancient Jimny has finally reached its end as a result of the cessation of manufacture in Brazil.

The Suzuki Jimny's fourth generation has been around since 2018, but the preceding third-gen model was still accessible as a less expensive substitute.

Those buyers who are interested in purchasing a brand-new Jimny must move quickly if they want to get one of the final models now on display in Brazilian dealerships.

Pricing for the outgoing model ranges from $21,908 for the entry-level Jimny 4Work to $26,995 for the Jimny Forest, which is the top of the line.

Due to new rules that would have necessitated expensive modifications to the outdated 1.3-liter engine and the installation of contemporary electronic systems, Suzuki chose to remove the old Jimny from its Brazilian portfolio.
