Genesis just revealed its second crossover called the GV70 and it will officially come to market by the end of this year.
Genesis GV70 has a more sporty design compared to the GV80. It still uses a Crest Grille and quad headlights like other Genesis products like Genesis G70, Genesis G80, Genesis G90, and Genesis GV80.
From the side, the GV70 completely looks different from the GV80 with its slopping rood and special C-Pillar design alongside the new 21-inch wheels. The taillights are also quad and there are two circular tailpipes inside the rear bumper.
Inside the cabin, the biggest highlights are a two-spoke steering wheel and include the company’s latest widescreen infotainment system, a second screen to display the HVAC settings, and a digital instrument cluster.
As the Genesis GV70 will be built on the G70 platform it is a rear-wheel drive car as standard but buyers can order an AWD system as an extra-cost option. Power comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that can produce 249 hp. There is another engine available with 2.5-liter of displacement and 300 hp and a 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 365 hp and a 3.5-liter twin-turbo B6 with 375 hp. Outside North America, Genesis GV70 will be available with a 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine with 199 hp and 441 nm of torque.
It looks great are they available in South Africa and what is their price range?I
