The new Shanhai Cannon from Great Wall Motors was unveiled at the Chengdu Auto Show in China. The Shanhai Cannon is referred to as Great Wall's most opulent pickup truck.
Shanhai Cannon has dimensions of 5,440 mm in length, 1,991 mm in width, and 1,924 mm in height. It also has a huge 3,350 mm wheelbase. It also has a spacious bed with no fewer than 18 tie-down points that are 1,500 mm long, 1,520 mm broad, and 500 mm deep.
The Tank 500 SUV serves as a visual inspiration for the Shanhai Cannon's design. The pickup has a protruding front bumper and wide wheel arches on the front and back. The tailgate is remarkable since it can split in half and open that way or fold down like a regular truck.
It has a lot of wood grain details, a digital instrument cluster, a huge touchscreen, two-tone blue and white leather, and even second-row seats with electric adjustability inside.
Three distinct powerplant choices will be available for the Shanhai Cannon from the automaker. Three of them will be a 2.4-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder, a 3.0-liter turbocharged petrol V6, and a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol hybrid. Although the 2.0-liter hybrid and 2.4-liter turbo-horsepower diesel's and torque ratings have not yet been released, we do know that the 3.0-liter V6's 348 hp and 500 Nm of torque when coupled to a nine-speed automated transmission.
Data from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) indicates that the 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine produces 183 horsepower, though this has not yet been verified.
The Great Wall Shanhai Cannon's price and availability information have not yet been disclosed.
