Hennessey Unleashes The Cadillac Escalade-V H850 Package

Author: |

The Cadillac Escalade-V stands as a formidable powerhouse, boasting a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that roars with an impressive 682 horsepower and 885 Nm of torque, figures typically associated with top-tier supercars. However, Hennessey Performance has taken this beast to new heights with its H850 package, further elevating its performance.

In pursuit of enhanced performance, the Texas-based tuner has implemented a series of upgrades. These include a new air induction system, an enhanced supercharger, high-flow cylinder heads, a custom camshaft, an upgraded throttle body, and the installation of both new intake and exhaust valves. Additionally, Hennessey has fine-tuned the Escalade-V's ECU, resulting in an impressive output of 850 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and a staggering 1,159 Nm of torque at 4,600 rpm.

While these figures may not quite match the extreme levels offered by Hennessey's flagship upgrade package for the Escalade-V, they are more than sufficient to instill fear in even the most speed-hungry enthusiasts.

Hennessey has refrained from disclosing specific acceleration and top speed statistics for the Escalade-V equipped with its H850 package. However, they have showcased its capabilities by pitting it against a standard Ram 1500 TRX. Thanks to its enhanced power, the Escalade-V effortlessly outpaces the formidable pickup truck. This is particularly impressive considering the TRX's ability to reach 96 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and cover the quarter-mile in a swift 12.3 seconds.

John Hennessey, founder of Hennessey Performance, expressed his enthusiasm for extreme-performance SUVs, highlighting their ability to blend understated appearances with supercar-like performance. He emphasized the H850 package's ability to unleash the full potential of the GM supercharged V8 engine, announcing a limited production run of only 100 H850 models, ensuring their exclusivity.

Customers will also have the option to customize their vehicle with either 22-inch gloss black or polished silver wheels. As with all of the tuner's enhancements, the H850 package comes with a generous 3-year / 36,000-mile limited warranty. However, pricing details for the kit have not been disclosed.
