Mercedes recently debuted the 2021 Mercedes AMG GT Black Series couple of weeks ago. The AMG GT Black Series is a very expensive car. It costs $438,000 which is more than twice the price of the AMG GT R Pro that is $192,000. Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is also way expensive that its key rivals like Porsche 911 GT2 RS and the Ferrari 488 Pista. The former costs $270,000 and the latter costs $342,000.
With this price tag, we expect a mind-blowing specification from the AMG GT Black Series. The German supercar uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with dry sump technology that can pump out 720 hp and 800 nm of torque.
The engine is heavily modified compared to the regular AMG GT and benefits new camshafts, new exhaust manifolds, new turbochargers, and new intercooler.
The engine is connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to the rear axle. This enables the AMG GT Black Series to hit 100 kph in 3.2 seconds and reach the top speed of 325 kph.
Visually, the Black Series got a new aerodynamic kit containing massive carbon-fiber front splitter, wider front fenders, rear wing, and active flaps.
