Representing Stelato's inaugural vehicle, the S9 sets its sights on challenging established premium competitors such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7-Series.
Drawing inspiration from its smaller counterpart, the Luxeed S7, the Stelato S9 inherits a design language characterized by sleek lines and modern aesthetics. Embracing technological advancements, the S9 incorporates digital rear mirrors and hidden door handles, optimizing aerodynamic efficiency. Sporting impressive 21-inch multi-spoke wheels, the sedan will be available in a range of striking colors including black, white, red, and gold. Building upon the success of the Luxeed S7, the Stelato S9 is poised to integrate Huawei's innovative xPixel headlight system, Lidar sensors, a spacious central control screen running HarmonyOS 4, and indulgent leather finishes.
Measuring 5160 mm in length, 1987 mm in width, and 1486 mm in height, with a wheelbase spanning 3050 mm, the generously proportioned sedan boasts a curb weight of 2366 kg. Offered in both single-motor and dual-motor configurations supplied by Huawei, the single-motor version delivers an impressive 308 hp, while its dual-motor counterpart combines a formidable 308 hp rear motor with an additional 214 hp front motor. Powering the Stelato S9 are batteries sourced from CATL, ensuring reliable performance and efficiency.
Anticipated to hit the market in July-August, the Stelato S9 is poised to enter a fiercely competitive Chinese automotive segment, with prices expected to range from $41,400 to $69,000. Positioned within this price bracket, the S9 will directly contend with formidable rivals such as the Nio ET7, Geely's Zeekr 001, and the Changan Avatr 12, all of which leverage Huawei's cutting-edge technology.
