Hyundai introduced the Staria van, a futuristic multi-purpose vehicle, in March of this year. The Staria van is designed to look like a spacecraft, with interesting interior elements and seating for up to 11 people. Another variant of the minivan is now available for order as a cargo bus, and it is already available in Australia.
The Staria Load, which replaces the iLoad in Australia, is now available in two-seat van and five-seat crew van variants, with either a normal hatchback or dual rear doors. Shimmering Silver and Creamy White are the two exterior colors offered.
A 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine with 174 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque provides propulsion. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels.Hyundai claims that the space can hold three Euro palettes, which is a significant improvement over the iLoad's two palettes.
The load capacity of the Staria Load has increased to 4,935 liters, up from 4,426 liters in the predecessor.
The Staria Load has seven airbags, an electronic parking brake, keyless entry, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless charging pad as standard features.
The Staria Load Van starts at $45,740 AUD and the Staria Load Crew Van starts at $48,240 AUD. It will be available for purchase in the fourth quarter of this year.
