The debut of the 2025 Enclave marks a significant milestone for Buick as it becomes the first model from the brand to feature GM's advanced hands-free driver assistance system, Super Cruise. This driver-assistance technology is not only available across the entire lineup but also signifies Buick's commitment to delivering a contemporary, appealing, and technology-driven vehicle to its customers. Drawing inspiration from the striking Wildcat EV concept car, the 2025 Enclave boasts a handsome design characterized by checkmark-shaped headlights, cross-body taillights, and a broad grille, aligning it with the refreshed Buick lineup.
Buick emphasizes that the new Enclave is larger in all dimensions compared to its predecessor, boasting increased length, width, and height. Despite this growth, the engine has undergone a downsizing transition from a 3.6-liter V6 to a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four. However, this downsized engine packs a punch, delivering a power boost from 310 hp in the previous model to 328 hp.
The turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the sole powertrain option available across the lineup, is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Customers have the choice between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, with a towing capacity of up to 2,268 kg.
Inside the cabin, Buick has prioritized technological innovations to set the 2025 Enclave apart from its competitors. This includes the introduction of a new, class-leading 30-inch display that spans from behind the steering wheel to the center of the dashboard, integrating both the infotainment screen and the instrument cluster as standard.
Additionally, the new Enclave comes equipped with standard wireless charging for mobile devices, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and seven standard camera views to facilitate maneuvering in tight spaces. A comprehensive suite of standard safety features includes blind spot steering assistance, intersection automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and lane keep assist.
Notably, Super Cruise is available throughout the lineup as an optional feature. Equipped models also benefit from driver attention monitoring, Enhanced Automatic Park Assist, and a digital rearview mirror on the top-of-the-line Avenir trim.
The base Preferred trim offers additional amenities such as multicolor ambient lighting, an auto-sensing power tailgate, heated and powered front seats, a 12-speaker Bose Audio system, 20-inch wheels, and QuietTuning for enhanced cabin tranquility.
The Sport Touring trim introduces a flat-bottom steering wheel, ST badging, exclusive interior trim, a High Gloss Black grille, and 20-inch wheels with High Gloss Black inserts.
At the top of the range, the Avenir trim elevates the luxury experience with a 16-speaker Bose Performance Series sound system, ventilated seats, 22-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, walk-up animations, rain-sensing wipers, Continuous Damping Control for a smoother ride, power-folding second- and third-row seats, and a head-up display.
Production of the 2025 Buick Enclave will take place at GM's Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan, with the order book anticipated to open later this summer. Pricing details for the new model have yet to be disclosed by Buick.
