Jaguar introduced the new R-Dynamic Black trim level for the XE and XF sedans, as well as the XF Sportbrake, which has extra equipment and sporty styling elements.
The R-Dynamic Black trim is distinguished by black 19-inch wheels with red brake calipers, as well as a black finish on the grille, emblems, mirrors, side sills, and side gills. Inside, the deeper tones continue, contrasting with the metal components on the dashboard and center console.
Both versions come standard with Jaguar's newest Pivi Pro infotainment system, which can get over-the-air upgrades and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connection.
Both variants have Jaguar's cabin ionization technology and the Active Road Noise Cancellation system for a more tranquil atmosphere, as well as improved Premium Cabin Lighting with a choice of 30 ambient colors.
Both the XE and the XF R-Dynamic Black are powered by a mild-hybrid 2.0-liter diesel engine with 201 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels. The XE takes 5.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, while the bigger XF takes 5.8 seconds. The XE has a fuel economy of 4.8l/100km while the XF has a fuel economy of 4.9l/100km.
The XE D200 R-Dynamic Black starts from £33,470 ($45,962) in the UK, and the XF D200 RWD R-Dynamic Black starts at £37,535 ($51,544). The most costly and functional XF P300 AWD R-Dynamic HSE Sportbrake costs £39,395 ($54,223).
The models are already on sale in the United Kingdom.
