Jetour X70 Plus is a new SUV announced by Jetour, one of the Chery’s sub-brands. The Jetour X70 Plus is a midsize crossover that measures 4749 mm long, 1900 mm wide, and 1720 tall. With a wheelbase of 2745 mm it offers enough space for its passengers. The cabin is configurable in 5 seat, 6 seat, or 7 seat layouts. The second-row seats also feature adjustable back movement.
Compared to the normal Jetour X70, the Plus version has a more dynamic look with its more aggressive look with its big chrome grille and new vertical LED lights on the bumper. The side view is also strong while at the rear, Jetour X70 Plus has a very sporty look with its light bar and quad tailpipes.
Inside the cabin, the upper part of the dashboard seems to be inspired by Mercedes Benz while the lower part looks more like Range Rover. The center console somehow reminds us of BMW but we must admit that the overall design of the cabin is premium and good.
Features inside the cabin are Jetour App 2.0, ACC adaptive cruise control, AR real scene Intelligent driving assistance system that includes facial recognition system, AEB active braking, bio-monitoring system, and automatic parking function.
Jetour X70 Plus is available with two engine options. The first engine is a 1.5-liter turbocharged unit with 156 hp and 230 nm of torque and can be connected to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The more powerful 1.6-liter engine also has 197 hp and 290 nm of torque and it comes standard with a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
The Jetour X70 Plus is available in the Chinese market with a base price of 77k RMB.
