Exterior Refinements

In terms of exterior aesthetics, Kia's designers have made refinements, notably to the imposing grille, which now sports a slimmer chrome bezel and a horizontal pattern, departing from the previous arrow-shaped design. While the majority of the bodywork maintains its familiar appearance, there are notable additions such as the introduction of dark-finished 19-inch alloy wheels and a fresh color option dubbed "Pebble Gray."

Interior Enhancements

Moving inside the vehicle, Kia's color and trim division have introduced new interior configurations: Martian Brown and Misty Gray. Across all K9 models, enhancements include the integration of USB-C ports, the inclusion of a fire extinguisher, and the implementation of an after-blow function for the air conditioning system. Moreover, higher-tier trims now feature pioneering Ergo motion seats, marking a milestone for Kia.

Powertrain

Under the hood, the Kia K9 retains its tried-and-true six-cylinder powertrains. The naturally aspirated 3.8-liter GDi engine delivers a respectable 311 horsepower and 397 Nm of torque, while the turbocharged 3.3-liter T-GDi unit offers an impressive 365 horsepower and 510 Nm of torque. Both engines are exclusively paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, sending power to either the rear or all four wheels, depending on the chosen configuration. It's worth noting that the previously available 5.0-liter V8 engine has been discontinued since 2021.
