Manhart’s BMW M240i Can Challenge M2

Author: |

Manhart's new proposal is based on the existing M240i Coupe, which is the 2-Series' current flagship model.

While BMW is hard at work designing a new M2, Manhart has given a sneak peek of the future 2-Series Coupe that may make you forget about the M2. The car will be modified both visually and mechanically by the tuner, and it has all of the components to be a standout performance.

Fitting 20-inch Concave One wheels with black spokes and a gold pinstripe around the rim is one of the cosmetic changes. Lowering springs, as well as a carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, are being designed. Gold accents will be available as well.

The car comes standard with a 3.0-liter TwinPower turbocharged six-cylinder engine that produces 382 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The M240i will be equipped with Manhart's MHtronik Powerbox, which can produce 450 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. Not only will the car's peak power and torque be increased, but power over the whole rpm range will increase as well.

Manhart is also developing a stainless steel exhaust system with adjustable valves, a petrol-particulate filter deletion, and downpipes with catalytic converters for the automobile. The kit will also include downpipes with a 200-cell catalytic converter.

There is no word of pricing yet for this heavily tuned M240i.
