Mansory Unveils Exclusive Tuning Package For Maserati MC20

Author: |

Mansory has introduced a new tuning package for the Maserati MC20, known as the MCX Pergusa. This limited edition model, with only five units available, features bold forged carbon bodywork, a luxurious interior, and an upgraded powertrain, making it even more exclusive than previous Mansory MC20 builds.

At a first glance, the MCX Pergusa might be mistaken for Mansory’s MC20 Widebody, but upon closer inspection, distinctive features emerge. The new model boasts a unique hood scoop and refined aerodynamics, with the bodywork predominantly constructed from forged carbon. The redesigned front end includes larger intakes and numerous vents on the custom hood and fenders, enhancing both aesthetics and performance.

The side profile of the MCX Pergusa is marked by center-lock wheels, measuring 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear. These wheels are paired with wide fenders, larger cooling intakes, and extended side skirts. The rear of the vehicle is equally impressive, featuring a large wing, a vented engine cover, and a double diffuser with quad exhaust pipes.

Inside, the MCX Pergusa continues Mansory’s tradition of bespoke interiors, allowing owners to customize the cabin to their exact preferences. The example shown includes orange and black quilted leather upholstery, extending to the footwell and floor mats. Additional details include orange seatbelts with Mansory branding, gold accents on the center console, and carbon fiber inserts, creating a striking and luxurious environment.

Mansory has not only focused on aesthetics but also significantly enhanced the vehicle’s performance. They have upgraded the electronics and engine peripherals, coupled with an in-house high-performance exhaust system. These modifications boost the output of the mid-mounted twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine to an impressive 740 hp and 880 Nm of torque. This represents an increase of 119 hp and 150 Nm over the standard Maserati MC20, making the MCX Pergusa even more powerful than the track-focused MCXtrema.

Performance improvements are notable, with the MCX Pergusa accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the stock MC20. The top speed has also been raised by 10 km/h, reaching 335 km/h.

While Mansory has not disclosed the pricing for the MCX Pergusa, they have indicated that each of the five units will be sold as “complete conversions.” Given the extensive use of forged carbon on the exterior and the lavishly revamped interior, it is expected that the cost will be significantly higher than that of the stock Maserati MC20.
