Last week Mercedes-AMG unveiled the 2021 AMG GT Black Series and now we have more detail about the supercar.
Probably the most significant improvement over the Black series model is the power boost. The supercar benefits a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with 720 hp and 800 nm of torque. Power transmits to the rear wheels with a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The AMG GT Black Series can hit 100 kph in 3.2 seconds and can reach the top speed of 352 kph.
The Black Series features a racing-inspired wide body kit. The car shares some parts with the AMG GT3 racing car, like air intakes, carbon fiber bonnet, and tailpipes.
Even some technical parts like upper and lower wishbones for the rear axle borrowed directly from the racing car.
Last but not least, AMG GT Black Series costs $389,150 in the European market which is almost twice the price of an AMG GT R.
