Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the Night Edition, a special edition of the new E-Class. The Night Edition automobiles have a variety of dark trim accents designed to give the E-Class a meaner aspect and keep interest in the car alive until it is replaced next year.
The package expands on the existing AMG Line trim and Night Package, and it may be mixed and matched with any normal E-Class powertrain and paint finish, but not with full AMG vehicles.
A black diamond grille, "Night Edition" logos on the fenders, black exhaust tailpipe trims, and AMG-branded alloy wheels finished in high-gloss black are among the visual highlights.
The instrument panel is covered in Mercedes' Artico fake leather, while the seats are covered in Artico and Dynamic microfiber cloth. The front seats are heated, and there is also a leather clothing option.
Dark aluminum-look trim, an open-pore black ash wood console trim with a polished aluminum Night Edition emblem, and Night Edition branding on the floor mats and lighted door sills are among the other Night Edition features.
The Night Edition is initially available in Europe on the coupe and convertible, but sedans and wagons will be available soon. Mercedes hasn't said whether the Night Edition cars will be available in North America, but European consumers will be able to get their hands on one starting in July for an extra €5,295.50 to €9,22.50, depending on which E-Class model they choose.
