Subaru's Latest Special Editions Hit Japanese Showrooms

Subaru, a company known for its tradition of releasing exclusive, limited-edition models tailored to the discerning tastes of its Japanese domestic market, has recently expanded its lineup with a fresh wave of special variants. This release encompasses several popular models, including the Levorg, Impreza, and Crosstrek, each receiving unique aesthetic and feature enhancements.

Crosstrek

Leading the charge are two distinct iterations of the Levorg: the V-Sport and the STI Sport R-Black Limited. While neither of these models introduces performance augmentations to the existing 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Levorg platform, they distinguish themselves through carefully curated visual modifications. The Levorg V-Sport, in particular, adopts a more aggressive aesthetic through the strategic application of blacked-out components. This includes black badges, wing mirrors, a roof antenna, and headlight bezels, all contributing to a more menacing presence compared to the standard model. Inside, the V-Sport features ultra suede upholstery with contrasting red stitching and a genuine leather steering wheel, adding a touch of sporty sophistication.

The Levorg STI Sport R-Black Limited, on the other hand, builds upon the foundation of the more potent STI Sport variant, which boasts a robust 271 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. This special edition also incorporates many of the same blacked-out design elements as the V-Sport, further enhancing its visual appeal. The V-Sport is positioned as the more accessible option, with a starting price of $22,500, while the STI Sport R-Black Limited commands a premium, starting at $28,700, reflecting its higher performance base and enhanced features.

Adding a vibrant splash of color to the lineup is the Crosstrek Limited Sub Blaze Edition. This model is exclusively finished in Sun Blaze Pearl, a rich and captivating shade of orange that immediately sets it apart. The enhancements to the Crosstrek are purely cosmetic, focusing on refining the interior ambiance. The cabin features dark grey leather upholstery complemented by orange stitching, creating a visually striking contrast. A new shifter boot and grey leather accents on the door panels and center console further contribute to the refined interior aesthetic. The Crosstrek Limited Sub Blaze Edition is offered in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations, with prices starting at $20,500 and $21,800, respectively.

Completing the roster of new special editions is the Subaru Impreza ST Black Selection. This model focuses on a sleek, dark aesthetic, incorporating blacked-out elements to create a more assertive look. Key features include black front fog lamp covers, wing mirrors, and side skirts, all contributing to the Impreza's enhanced visual presence. Subaru has also equipped the ST Black Selection with aluminum pedals and new 17-inch wheels, adding a touch of sporty sophistication.
