Skoda developed new changes from appearance. This supermini comes to the market with a variety of black accents noticeable on the front grille and apron. The mirror caps and side skirts are just like the previous model. This brand added a fake diffuser at the back and the SKODA brand on the tailgate. All the features are in black just the same as the black roof extending onto the A-pillars and rear spoiler.
One option for the customer who loves big wheels is supporting from 16 inches to 18 inches tire. The standard one beneath the car is 16-inch but 17-inch can be set too. The drag coefficient is 0.28 thanks to the plastic trims to boost aero. Also, another aero feature of this car is the active front grille with adjustable slats. However, for ones who love 18-inch wheels, the comfort will decrease.
Inside the car is changed a lot. The standard seats for his supermini are sporty ones decorated with red accents. Dashboard and door cards are in fake carbon fiber. LED ambient lighting is just like every car has now. the big instrument cluster is another art in this car. The cluster is 10.25 inches and fully digital. Other adopting technologies are a trunk-mounted subwoofer, five USB-C ports, wireless charging, and 9.2-inch infotainment bundled with a 64 GB SSD. Additional safety in this car is just the nine airbags. The cruise control will employ up to 210 km/h.
The standard engine of this Monte Carlo is on a regular one, 1.0 liter naturally aspirated with 80 hp of output and 93 Nm of torque connected to front wheels. It has a five-speed manual transmission. Fabio Monte Carlo speeds up to 100 km/h in 15.5 seconds. That’s not so impressive, but there is one option of supercharger along with this engine to boost the output to 95 hp and 175 Nm. So, the speed up to 200 km/h takes 10.6 seconds. Much better!
This is not the end of the story for the power unit of this vehicle. Another powerful configuration is a 1.0 TSI EVO engine that unlocks 110 hp and 200 Nm, along with offering a choice between a six-speed manual or a seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic. The one with a manual gearbox needs 10 seconds to speed up, while the DSG is 0.1 seconds faster. The maximum speed is 205 km/h.
The last option engine for this car is a four-cylinder 1.5-liter with 150 hp and 250 Nm just available with DSG. The zero to 100 km/h is 8 seconds and the top speed is 225 km/h.
The new generation of Fabio will come to Europe first in the year, but still, the exact time is unknown.
