As previously mentioned, the redesigned ES8 SUV was recently unveiled by the Chinese Nio. The ES8 receives an evolutionary redesign with a sleek front fascia, gentle curves, a more understated greenhouse, and a sophisticated rear end with a full-width light bar.
The model expands in size as it now has dimensions of 5,099 mm in length, 1,989 mm in width, and 1,750 mm in height, with a 3,070 mm-long wheelbase. This translates to a model that is 77 mm longer than its forerunner and has 60 mm more space between the wheels.
The ES8's interior, which includes a third-row and four executive seats as well as a rear center console, steals the show.
The 33 high-performance sensors on the crossovers, including LiDAR, enable high levels of automation.
The dual-motor all-wheel drive system in the ES8 produces 644 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. The three-row crossover is slower than the EC7 despite having the same numbers, taking 4.1 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. Additionally, the model offers 75 and 100-kWh battery packs with a maximum range of 605 km.
The 75 kWh battery starts at $75,860, and the 100 kWh battery starts at $84,194. The battery-as-a-service alternative lowers the price to $68,677. Delivery of the crossover should start in June, and orders can be placed right now.
