Nissan X-Trail Off-Roader Unofficial Rendering

Author: |

Last year, Nissan redesigned the X-trail for the latest generation. Aside from the design enhancements, among other things, one thing remains - it's still a crossover designed to be driven on paved roads and unlikely to see dirt.

Some Kolesa employees aim to modify the way you think about the Nissan crossover with a fictitious notion. Unofficial renderings accompany the design, and wow does it seem rough and nasty, as if it's suited for off-roading.

The additional ground clearance on this idea is due to the hefty pair of beadlock rims and thick all-terrain tires.

Front, side, and back skid plates are also supplied for additional underbody protection. The X-trail here also receives rear tow hooks and a snorkel for extra usefulness.

The X-trail, on the other hand, is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-pot engine that generates 181 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque and is connected to a continuously variable gearbox (CVT).
