The 10th anniversary of the production-spec Alfa Romeo 4C Coupe's debut is being celebrated by the Alfa Romeo 4C Unica model, which will retail for an unknown sum. The mid-engine Alfa Romeo 4C, which was available in coupe and spider versions, debuted in 2013 and was produced until 2020. Nevertheless, the original designer, Alessandro Maccolini, worked with the Stellantis Heritage Department to construct a final special edition of the 4C based on suggestions from the general public.
Even though it was slightly hidden, Alfa Romeo had another unique model on exhibit at the Auto e Moto d'Epoca event in Bologna, while the 33 Stradale may have taken center stage.
Even while a special anniversary special based on a model that was discontinued three years ago is undoubtedly cool, Alfa Romeo seems to have purposefully minimized its release on its press and social media platforms.
Based on the 4C Coupe, the 4C Unica has a distinctive livery that consists of white stripes running from the rear diffuser to the Scudetto grille in a light blue tint.
Although the final version has the more conventional phone-dial design, also finished in white, the original designs featured multi-spoke alloy wheels. Saddle leather and black are elegantly combined inside, and there's a unique plaque.
Details about any mechanical changes made in comparison to the normal 4C were not disclosed by the manufacturer. The vehicle most likely keeps the mid-mounted turbocharged 1.8-liter engine producing 236 horsepower and the carbon fiber monocoque.
Given that it will be for sale, the Alfa Romeo 4C Unica is more than just a museum exhibit or display vehicle. The company has yet to reveal specifics, but it is safe to anticipate that the 4C Unica will be far more expensive than the original.
