Screens are becoming increasingly crucial in new automobiles these days, and the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee will have one as well.
The two-row, which debuted a few months ago, now has the option of adding a second screen for the front passenger, which was previously reserved for the Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve. The passenger screen will also be offered on the 2022 Grand Cherokee L, but according to Mopar Insiders, it will be optional on other trim levels.
For the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited, Overland, and Summit versions, the front passenger screen will be available as an option. In terms of cost, the passenger screen will set you back $1,095.
The front passenger screen is only available for the Summit Reserve of both two- and three-row Cherokees, according to Jeep's 2022 configurator. For the Limited, Overland, and Summit versions, no options have yet been introduced.
The 10.25-inch screen in the front passenger seat offers four major tech features. It may be used as a "Co-Pilot" for navigation and device administration, as well as for entertainment through an HDMI cable and Amazon's Fire TV for Auto. It can also be used to display external cameras. Smartphone mirroring and other UConnect 5 system functionalities are possible using the HDMI connector.
The Trackhawk variant is only available with AWD and starts at $51,275. It has a Quadra-Drive II 4x4 system with low-range Selec-Speed Control, an active electronic two-speed transfer case with low range, and a rear electronic limited-slip differential. The Grand Cherokee Overland starts at $53,305 and comes standard with the Quadra-Trac II 4x4 system.
