Porsche has unveiled an updated version of its iconic 911 Carrera T, a model celebrated for its purist driving experience. For the 2025 model year, Porsche has made some significant changes to enhance the T's appeal and performance.

One of the most notable changes is the exclusive availability of a six-speed manual transmission. This decision reinforces the T's commitment to a pure driving experience, offering enthusiasts the opportunity to engage with the car on a deeper level. Additionally, Porsche has expanded the T's lineup to include a convertible variant, allowing drivers to enjoy the open-air thrill of the 911.

Inside the cabin, the 2025 Carrera T exudes a minimalist and driver-focused ambiance. Vanadium Grey is the standard interior color, and the shifter features a distinctive walnut ball handle. An optional interior package introduces Gentian Blue accents to the cabin, adding a touch of visual flair.

Under the hood, the T retains its potent twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine, now delivering 388 horsepower, an increase of 9 horsepower over the previous model. The engine continues to produce 331 pound-feet of torque, propelling the coupe from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. The convertible version is slightly slower, achieving the same sprint in 4.5 seconds. Top speed for the coupe is 183 mph, while the convertible reaches a top speed of 182 mph.

To further enhance the T's dynamic capabilities, Porsche has upgraded the braking system with larger 13.8-inch front and rear discs and six-piston fixed calipers. This upgrade provides improved braking performance and greater stopping power. The T also benefits from standard rear-axle steering, revised anti-roll bars, and Porsche Torque Vectoring, which work together to optimize handling and agility.

To reduce weight and enhance the driving experience, the 2025 Carrera T features a number of lightweight components, including lightweight glass and reduced sound deadening materials. The result is a curb weight of 3,316 pounds for the coupe, making it the lightest 911 Carrera variant. Optional carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic bucket seats can further reduce weight for those seeking an even more focused driving experience.

The exterior of the 2025 Carrera T is distinguished by Vanadium Grey Metallic accents on the side mirror caps, wheels, and badges. The car also features black stainless steel Sport Exhaust tailpipes, the GTS front spoiler, and unique stickers on the rear side windows. An optional exterior package adds Gentian Blue accents to further personalize the car's appearance.
