Posaidon revealed a tuned version of the Mercedes-AMG G63 with about 1000 hp. While the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine can produce 577 hp and 850 nm of torque on the standard configuration, the tuner took these numbers to 927 hp and 1278 nm of torque.
After this modification, the 0-100 kph acceleration dropped from 4.5 seconds to 3.6 seconds. The top speed also increased from 240 kph to 280 kph.
Other upgraded parts include ECU, transmission, 4WD system, and brakes. Posaidon installed a new set of carbon ceramic brakes with 6-piston calipers front and 4-piston calipers at the rear. The new braking system does not only stop the car faster but it is also lighter by 40 percent, the tuner claims.
Visual changes are subtle as there are only carbon fiber hood and roof-mounted lights. Posaidon hasn't revealed pricing detail for this tuning kit.
