Seat has announced the Leon E-Hybrid which is a plug-in hybrid version of the Leon hatchback. The Leon E-Hybrid is powered by a 1.4-liter TSI engine connected to an electric motor. The plug-in hybrid unite can produce 201 hp sent to the wheels by a 6-speed DSG transmission. Seat Leon E-Hybrid can offer 58 km of EV driving range. The electric power is supplied by a 13kWh lithium-ion battery that can be charged within 4 hours using a 3.6 kW AC charger.
Seat Leon E-Hybrid can hit 100 kph in 7.5 seconds and emits only 27 g/km.
British buyers can also get a 1.0-liter TSI mild-hybrid engine with DSG transmission. Standard equipment for Seat Leon E-Hybrid includes an 8.0-inch infotainment system, a leather steering wheel.
Pricing for the mild-hybrid Seat Leon starts from $29,259 and $39,875.
