Silent Shadow, Rolls-Royce’s First EV, Will Go On Production Line

Rolls-Royce introduced the 102EX Electric Concept as the world's first ultra-luxury EV almost a decade ago. After then, Rolls-Royce had no plans to release an EV until today, with the Silent Shadow. now this British company has confirmed, the arrival of this electric vehicle.

Silent Shadow, which was registered with the German Patent and Trademark Office last year, has been verified as the name of the automaker's first-ever electric vehicle. CEO Torsten Müller-tvös utilized an interview on Bloomberg TV to showcase the Silent Shadow, the company's first electric car. The CEO did not specify when the EV will be available for purchase.

“Electrification fits perfectly with Rolls-Royce: it's torquey, it's super-silent,We are not known for loud engines and exhaust noises whatsoever, and that is a big benefit."

The Silent Shadow will be greatly influenced by the future BMW i7. The business hasn't mentioned much about the sedan, but a recent presentation indicated that electric "Luxury" class vehicles will feature 90 and 120 kWh battery packs with 550 and 700 km ranges, respectively.
