The second-generation Tesla Roadster, which was first unveiled in 2017 and is set to hit the market in 2022. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that the latest Roadster concept is being updated, and it appears that it will reach 0-60 mph acceleration in a mind-boggling 1.1 seconds with the SpaceX kit.
The architecture remains largely unchanged. The three-engine Tesla Roadster is expected to accelerate from 0 to 96.5 km/h in 1.9 seconds, but 2.1 seconds is more possible without a start, and to have a range of 998 km. According to the explanation in front of the vehicle, SpaceX's kit of cold air thrusters is supposed to go from 0 to 60 mph in 1.1 seconds!
Regardless, when it comes to acceleration, Tesla still aims for the fewest numbers possible.
