The automotive industry has been dominated by large companies for many years. But today we see the emergence of new names, with creative innovations. One of these companies is Spyker. Many of us haven’t hear about this company existence even but we should know that Spyker is a Dutch based Automaker. This company sold about 300 cars in the decade of its inception and there was no news of this car maker from 2015 till now.
But Today, as it seems, by new investor on this company, Spyker can live other day. Spyker owes its return to the large investments of two big businessmen. According to Autocar's report, SMP Racing owner Boris Rotenberg and his business partner, Michail Pessis, adopted Spyker into their lineup of companies. This is good news for the Dutch’s firm. They can now show what they are capable of with the C8 Preliator.
Spyker C8 Preliator is a supercar which was presented at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
Under the hood, this car should had a 5.0-litre naturally-aspirated V8 which was made by Koenigsegg this engine makes 600 horsepower (447 kilowatts) and transmits 443 pound-feet (600 Newton meters of torque) to the wheels. But it is not certain that now, after 4 years, this engine is the used engine or not.
Actually, money can solve so many problems. With the new partners, Spyker has more plans to do. They are preparing themselves to D8 Peking-to-Paris SUV and the B6 Venator supercar. These two cars are the pioneers of the Spyker in 2021. As Spyker said in Autocar’s report:
"There can be no doubt that Spyker has had a few very tough years since the demise of Saab Automobile AB in 2011. With this new partnership, those days are definitely gone and Spyker will become an important player in the super sports car market segment."
We wish all the bests for Spyker and so excited to see a new competitor in the battle of the automakers. New challenger, new Ideas.
