The 2025 Mini Cooper S 2-Door has officially arrived in the United States, marking its debut in New York City. Priced at $33,195 to start, this compact vehicle aims to leave a significant impression on the bustling streets of the Big Apple with its updated aesthetics and features. In the latest model year, the Mini Cooper S 2-Door will offer customers a single engine option, along with two distinct style packages and three trim level packages.

Powering all variants is a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine delivering 201 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, propelling the car from 0 to 96 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. However, enthusiasts will note the absence of a manual gearbox, as all models come equipped with an automatic transmission.

Owners of the new Mini have the opportunity to personalize their vehicles with two distinct "Style" packages. The "Classic" style presents options such as cloth and Vescin upholstery, piano black exterior accents, a dashboard with blue undertones, a steering wheel featuring silver accents, and a gray headliner. Conversely, the "Favoured" style offers two Vescin upholstery choices, Vibrant Silver exterior accents, a herringbone-patterned dashboard in gray or beige, a closable center console box, and a black headliner. Notably, the "Favoured" style also includes a Spray-Tech multitone roof with a three-color gradient, exclusive to vehicles manufactured in July or later.

Inside, all 2025 Mini Cooper S 2-Door models feature a circular OLED central touchscreen. Opting for the optional Mini Experience Modes enables the dashboard to serve as a canvas for illuminated graphics, allowing for further personalization.

Regarding trim packages, the Signature option serves as the entry-level choice, offering four exterior paint colors and 17-inch rims, along with amenities like a heated steering wheel and heated front seats. However, unlike other trims, the Signature model restricts exterior color options to monotone, whereas buyers can select black or white roof and mirror caps in other trims.

The Signature Plus trim, priced $2,400 higher, expands the paint color choices and offers a choice between 17 or 18-inch rims, alongside remote engine start. Stepping up to the Iconic trim, an additional $5,100 adds the Comfort Package Plus, featuring auto-dimming mirrors, a parking assistant, keyless entry, augmented reality navigation, and wireless smartphone charging.

Production of the 2025 Mini Cooper S 2-Door commenced this month, with vehicles slated to arrive in U.S. showrooms in May. Prospective buyers can customize their vehicles through Mini USA's website.
