The Hummer H2 Class B Motorhome is the only one ever constructed. It's known as the Chummer, and it's a Chinook Baja H2 Special Edition. Chinook RV created Chummer in 2004 utilizing a conventional GM one-ton chassis cab fused with an unique Hummer H2 nose.
The engine is a 6.0-liter V8 that is period correct. It has 19.5-inch wheels with hefty tires, like a large truck.
A Hummer H2 wouldn't be complete without some luxurious additions, starting with a huge power-folding leather sofa. The cabin has cherry wood trim all over it. The inside features a complete kitchen and wet bath, as well as a big TV and full-size appliances.
It is outfitted with a 4,000-watt generator, heated storage tanks, and a central vacuum system for cleanup. Overall, this one-of-a-kind setup is very exceptional.
This gear isn't designed for rock climbing in Moab, but it is well-equipped for off-the-beaten-path travel. The large Warn winch on the front bumper is evident, but the Chummer's suspension was also improved as part of the RV conversion. The area around the RV is illuminated by two banks of off-road lights.
There's an emergency kit in the rear in case things get out of hand, but even if you're stranded for a while, the inside is a pleasant place to wait for help.
The Chummer is estimated to cost about $200,000.
