Do you know what is the combination of Porsche and TechArt? It shouldn’t be any thing less than a Jet. Actually TechArt, the Tuner, had worked on many Porsches, the latest one was 911 Turbo S. now this new Porsche TechArt GTstreet R is ready to go on street tests.
First changes strarts with the power of car. 911 itself is a very quick and aerodynamic car, now with the changes two type of power goes for the GTstreet R. the fastest model’s power is extended to 800 hp with 950 Nm of torque by giving upgrades to the turbochargers, exhaust and more tunes and the latter one is the tamer package by this Auto Tuner which changes the power to 700 hp, not very impressive! By the faster version, the top speed is recorded 217 mph, that means 12 mph more than standard Turbo S, but how quickly it will accelerate. Now news.
The other modification by this German tuner is about suspension. There is two type of suspension upgrades, the sport suspension package to add stiffer springs with a 1-inch drop all around and the suspension with adjustable coilovers that can also be tuned for a 1-inch drop. There is some rumors about one more option for suspension system, which is adjustable suspension. But its not yet confirmed, maybe later by the TechArt Clubsport Package. There is one more package, the aero package. This one can widen the GTstreet R’s stance by a full inch in the front.
The body has many new elements on it and they are not just for show. It contains many carbon-fibers on it which are on the new fascias front and rear, a new boot lid, two-piece side skirts, and that massive race-inspired rear wing. This tuner even used roof spoiler for this vehicle to improve the air flow actively. There is more carbon fiber on the snazzy center-lock wheels. They are on the discs around the wheel lip for better airflow and lighter weight. By the wind tunnel results, this TechArt’ien Porsche has four times better downforce.
Going inside the car, is just like going in to Alice wonder land. The tiled seats, black interior and yellow stripes, that’s eye catching! That how TechArts signs its cars. The buyers of this GTstreet R can choose their own materials among the leather, Alcantara, and carbon fiber (choose carbon fiber!)
Evry good thing comes with its price. The GTStreet R upgrade starts at €73,000 or $86,610. The 911 Turbo S, itself has approximately a $200,000 price tag. If you have the money, you should try this. Its going to be very exclusive and just 87 models of it will be produced.
