In the Japanese market, Lexus has released a number of upgrades for the LC500 and LC500h. Although none of the adjustments make a significant difference, they do provide clients in the nation with more options and enhancements.
Lexus began by focusing on enhancing the Grand Tourer's ride quality and performance, updating the springs, stabilizer bars, and shock absorbers to boost comfort while also increasing steering responsiveness and controllability. Models equipped with the Lexus Dynamic Handling System have received further handling modifications.
A new color choice for the inside and the retractable roof have been added to the LC 500 Convertible. Lexus is also introducing a new blue and white interior color scheme for the convertible, as well as a new Marine Blue roof color. The top dashboard, the steering wheel, the door panels, the center console, the shifter, and the seats are all colored. Another change is that coupes equipped with the L Package will now come standard with 21-inch black-painted wheels with a polished finish. On both body types, orange brake calipers are a new option.
The LC500 is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 471 horsepower at 7,100 rpm and 539 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. The same engine is available in the Coupe, which also comes with a hybrid powertrain that has a 3.5-liter V6 and two electric motors for a total output of 354 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque.
Later this year, the redesigned LC will be available at Lexus dealerships in Japan. The coupe will cost $118,738, while the convertible will cost $132,159, to begin with. The coupe is also available as a hybrid with a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which starts at $123,212.
