2021 Audi A7 55 TFSIe Launched For The US Market With Plugin-Hybrid Engine

Audi has launched a new plug-in hybrid model in the U.S. the A7 55 TFSIe is the third PHEV Audi for North America and it is available alongside the Audi A8 60 TFSIe and 2021 Audi Q5 55 TFSIe in this market.

The 2021 Audi A7 55 TFSIe benefits a 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an electric motor. The powertrain is shared with the Audi Q5 55 TFSIe and has a total output of 362 hp and 500 nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Audi also has updated the Audi Q5 55 TFSIe for 2021 with a mild facelift and added MIB 3 infotainment system. The car has a 14.1 kWh battery pack that is enough for 30.5 km of all-electric driving range. For the A7 55 TFSIe, the EV range is 38.6 km.

Pricing for the Audi Q5 55 TFSIe starts from 51,900 and for the 2021 Audi A7 55 TFSIe starts from $74,900.

In the end, there is a flagship Audi A8 60 TFSIe that has a 3.0-liter V6 engine and an electric motor under the hood with 433 hp and 699 nm of torque. This model uses the same 14.1 kWh battery pack with 29 km of EV driving range. The A8 60 TFSIe benefits an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and Quattro AWD system. Pricing for the A8 60 TFSIe starts from $95,900.
