Fiat has revealed a new model of Tipo for the 2021 model year and there is also a crossover like model with a higher ride dubbed as Tipo Cross.
In terms of design, the new Fiat Tipo benefits revised grille, new bumpers, revised 16 or 17-inch wheels, and new LED headlights.
Inside the cabin, the 2021 Tipo features a new 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch UConnect 5 infotainment system, new gear lever and revised steering wheel.
As mentioned before, there is a new variant called the Tipo Cross which is based on the five-door hatchback version. While the ride height for the Cross model is 4 cm higher, it also benefits plastic body cladding, silver skid plate and new tires.
Engine ranges start from 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol with 99 hp and 190 nm of torque. The new engine is said to have lower fuel consumption over the current 1.4-liter engine. Buyers who are interested in diesel engines can go for a 1.6-liter Multijet diesel engine that pumps out 128 hp. Fiat also said that the diesel model has less fuel consumption but it didn't mention exact numbers.
