Buick announced the Chinese version of the Enclave in 2020 and now the US market version is going to get the same updates. The Chinese version is a little different from the American version. Buick Enclave is being produced in China by the SAIC-GM joint venture.
In appearance as the official picture shows, the new Enclave has split LED headlights. Also, the grille has been enlarged and there is a chrome bar on it with the Buick logo. This chrome strip makes the look a lot luxurious.
Changes are subtle on the side as there are enlarged fenders and “Avenir” logo on the front door. The alloy wheels are new and larger than before. At the rear, Buick redesigned the rear lights and it looks better.
In terms of size, the new Enclave measures 4,981 mm long, 1,953 mm wide, 1,732 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2.863 mm. Buick hasn't released any official power and torque figure yet but we expect the new Enclave to use a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 314 hp and 361 nm of torque. The power will be transferred to the wheels with a 9-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system. In China, the Enclave uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 233 hp.
It is not clear that when the 2021 Buick Enclave will enter the American market.
