2022 Fiat Fiorino Facelift Unveiled In Brazil

Author: |

Fiat has upgraded its Fiorino model for the Brazilian market. The Fiorino is a tiny commercial van that shares its name with an unrelated European model that is a sister model of PSA's Citroen Nemo and Peugeot Bipper light commercial vehicles. It is built on the foundations of the local market Uno hatch, unlike the European Fiorino.

The front end of the 2022 Fiorino has been altered but is still unpainted, giving it a more serious appearance. The headlights are likewise changed, and the hood is contoured more. With the exception of the somewhat smaller Fiat emblem, the profile and rear-end are similar to the outgoing generation.

A new instrument cluster with an LCD screen for the trip computer and a new dashboard has been installed within the cabin.

Because the Fiorino is a budget-conscious vehicle, it does not include an infotainment screen.

Hydraulic steering, air conditioning, a height-adjustable driver's seat, electric windows, remote locking, alarm, ESC, traction control, Hill Holder, and fog lights are all standard features. Greater comfortable seats with wear-resistant fabric, four more storage compartments, and revised door cards with more elbow room are also included. Fiat has modified the air conditioning system, which now allows the two-seater interior to cool 18% faster.

The engine is an upgraded naturally aspirated 1.4 EVO Flex with 84 horsepower on gasoline and 86 horsepower on ethanol, as well as 120 Nm of torque. A five-speed manual gearbox transmits power to the front axle. The rear suspension, which is adapted from the Fiat Strada, is another technological modification. The load capacity of the Fiat Fiorino is 650 kilograms.

In Brazil, the facelifted Fiat Fiorino is already on sale for $17,583. It is likely to expand into additional Latin American markets in the near future.
