The Fiat Pulse 2022 is a compact crossover that is mechanically linked to the Argo small hatchback and the Cronos sedan. Fiat is now giving us to have a decent peek inside the cabin after releasing exterior pictures and revealing its name. As you can see, it has undergone quite a few modifications in comparison to the Argo and Cronos.
It has a seven-inch completely digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. The latter is powered by the newest Uconnect software, which is also used in the Toro pickup truck, where the screen is placed in portrait orientation, whilst the Pulse is powered by a more traditional horizontal layout.
The forthcoming Pulse will have different climate settings than the Argo and Cronos, as well as a red Sport button on the steering column. Fiat states in a news statement for the Brazilian market that it has created unique textures and materials, as well as specific paints and finishes, to differentiate its forthcoming model from other compact crossovers.
A turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine with roughly 120 horsepower and 196 Nm of torque is available, as is a normally aspirated 1.3-liter engine with 109 hp and 139 Nm of torque. The former will be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the latter will be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
Pricing information has not yet been released, but an educated bet suggests it will be less expensive than the Jeep Compass.
