This week, Lexus unveiled the 2022 NX crossover, and we now have all the details. The TNGA-K platform underpins the 2022 Lexus NX, which has a lower center of gravity and increased torsional stiffness owing to laser peening welding. It's also worth mentioning that the new model is lighter than its predecessor, with certain variations weighing as little as 91 kg.
The Lexus NX 2022 appears to be a crossover version of the IS performance sedan. It has a whole redesigned front fascia, as well as a reworked spindle grille with a more three-dimensional appearance.

Customers seeking a more environmentally friendly vehicle may choose the 2022 NX 350h, which features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an all-wheel drive system with a rear electric motor producing 239 horsepower. The sprint to 96 km/h is reduced to 5.7 seconds thanks to the increased power. The NX 350h has a combined fuel efficiency rating of 36 mpg, which is 6 mpg greater than the previous model.
The inclusion of a plug-in hybrid engine is the major news for 2022. The NX 450h+ is a first for Lexus, and it has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, a lithium-ion battery pack, and a rear-mounted electric motor.
The PHEV powertrain is primarily based on the Toyota RAV4 Prime. The Lexus will have an electric-only range of roughly 58 kilometers and There are a few minor changes. The crossover will also be able to reach 96 km/h in around six seconds. When the battery is low, the usual 3.3 kW onboard charger can fully recharge it in around 4.5 hours.
