2023 Grand Cherokee 4xe 30th Anniversary Edition Introduced

With the new 2023 Grand Cherokee 4xe 30th Anniversary Edition, Jeep is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Grand Cherokee. The 2022 Detroit Auto Show will host the debut of the new model, which was first unveiled in 1992.

The model has a distinctive front fascia modification and a blacked-out look kit. Like other 4xe variants, it has recognizable blue tow hooks as well as dual exhaust and a dual-pane sunroof.

The Cherokee 4xe 30th Anniversary Edition also features body-color rear fascia, lower moldings, claddings, and wheel flares in addition to new 20-inch wheels with a black finish.

This special edition's interior features black Capri leather seats. A wireless charging pad, a nine-speaker Alpine radio, a 10.1-inch touchscreen screen with navigation, and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are among the other features. Among the safety features is front and rear park assist rain-sensing windshield wipers, a digital rearview mirror, and a 360-degree video system. Meanwhile, 3D navigation will assist drivers in reaching their destination.

The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder produces 375 horsepower and 637 Nm with electronic assistance. The projected driving range of the 17-kilowatt-hour battery is 40 kilometers. It has a 2,720 kg towing capacity.

The Grand Cherokee 4xe sports a two-speed transfer case and the Quadra Trac II 4x4 system to give off-road capability. It has a crawl ratio of 47.4:1. The car boasts Quadra-Drive II 4x4 technology in Trailhawk version, as well as Selec-Terrain traction control, a limited-slip differential at the back, and 10.9 inches of ground clearance.

The Grand Cherokee 4xe will cost $4,700 more with the 30th Anniversary edition. It will only be offered on the SUV's lowest model. Orders for the Jeep will be accepted later this year, and deliveries will begin in early 2023.
