Launched in Australia in 2023, the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid has a starting MSRP of AU$63,000 for the Elite trim. A 1.6-liter T-GDi Smartstream engine and a 44.2 kW electric motor, both of which are powered by a 1.4 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery pack, work together to power the Santa Fe Hybrid. A six-speed automatic transmission distributes power to all four wheels. The SUV has a total output of 227 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.

The combined cycle consumption of the Santa Fe Hybrid is 6.0 l/100 km, and the urban cycle consumption is 6.2 l/100 km.

The suspension has been specially tuned for the Santa Fe Hybrid to work well on local roads. Additionally, it has Hyundai's HTRAC advanced all-wheel drive system, which combines active torque control between the front and rear axles with an electronic variable torque split clutch.
