The same 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that powers all four models now produces 147 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, an increase of 5.4 horsepower and 50 Nm over the SUV's predecessor.
A newly created automatic transmission called the X-Tronic is mated to this enhanced engine. The 2023 Qashqai, according to Nissan Australia, can achieve a combined 6.1 l/100 km on the combined cycle.
