Porsche debuted an enhanced user interface for the Taycan electric vehicle in 2023. Customers will discover an improved Porsche Communication Management system that features a "colorful tile screen" and a revamped user interface. Spotify integration and wireless Android Auto compatibility are more enhancements.
An "updated HUD design" and a new function to filter EV charging stations by power output complete the technological changes.
As the front motor de-energizes in Normal and Range modes on dual-motor Taycan variants for less parasitic load, the Porsche Taycan also benefits from a few powertrain upgrades.
The battery can now prepare faster and to a greater temperature, which has enhanced thermal management. Now, energy flows are also displayed on the dash's all-wheel drive indicator.
Wheel options have been updated slightly, and Variable Light Control is now more widely available for the panoramic glass roof. With the latter, users can quickly change the transparency of the roof.
Clients can also have their Taycans fitted with front and rear dashcams. The latter is offered by Porsche Tequipment and includes a lens with a polarization filter, vibration, radar, and GPS sensors.
The software updates are not yet available for models from 2020, 2021, or 2022, but they will be soon. The hardware improvements are only applicable to Taycans from 2023. There is no information that if the new updates affect the pricing or not but expect a little raise in the prices.
