The GR Sport Toyota Aqua is one of a number of 2023 model-year modifications from Toyota Gazoo Racing that also include new colors and added features.
The Toyota Aqua GR Sport comes standard with a self-charging hybrid powertrain that includes a 1.5-liter normally aspirated engine, an electric motor, and a bipolar nickel-hydrogen battery.
The Toyota Aqua GR Sport sports a chassis configuration that includes version-specific suspension tuning, additional bracing for enhanced rigidity, and changed steering. These modifications improve the car's handling and driving dynamics.
Due to a significantly revised body kit, the Toyota Aqua GR Sport appears substantially different from the standard Aqua. The redesigned bumper intake with the honeycomb pattern gives the front end a meaner appearance. The headlights and the Toyota logo are connected by a small grille as well. The exterior modifications are finished off with a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels, red GR Sport-branded brake calipers, side sill extensions, and a revised rear bumper.
A set of bucket seats with synthetic leather upholstery can be found inside, along with GR Sport logos on the headrests and leather-wrapped steering wheels, aluminum pedals, and gunmetal accents all throughout the interior.
In Japan, the 2023 Toyota Aqua costs between $14,472 and $18,817.
