Mini has just unveiled a special John Cooper Works Trim for the punchy hatchback, which gives it classic JCW looks but not extreme performance. The Cooper SE JCW Trim retains the standard model's 215 hp electric motor and has the same 250-mile range.

The John Cooper Works Trim package adds a new front grille surround and logo finished in high-gloss black to the Cooper SE. The LED headlights on the hatch have individual light signatures, as do the DRLs, which are two simple horizontal stripes.
Mini has outfitted the JCW Trim model with a set of unique 18-inch, 10-spoke wheels with a two-tone design that sit over a set of red brake calipers, red graphics running over the hood, and a contrasting Chilli Red painted roof and wing mirror caps.
A few interior updates are also included with the JCW Trim, such as sportier seats with red stitching and synthetic leather.
The large central infotainment screen has been updated with a Go-Kart mode that alters the interior lighting to red and enhances the Cooper SE's throttle response. The dashboard and door panels also feature a distinctive black and red theme.
There are no mechanical updates. Consequently, the Cooper SE John Cooper Works Trim continues to be driven by a single 215 horsepower and 330 Nm torque electric motor.
A 54.2 kWh battery pack powers this engine, providing the vehicle with a range of up to 402 km on the WLTP testing cycle. It can charge from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes and reach 100 km/h in a respectable 6.7 seconds.
Pricing detail will be announced in the future.
