The 2025 Toyota Yaris GR Sport has received a subtle update, introducing a new color option, fresh wheel design, and subtle interior refinements.
The fourth-generation Yaris, launched in 2019, was joined by the GR Sport trim in 2021. While the entire Yaris lineup underwent a minor facelift in 2023, the 2025 updates for the GR Sport are relatively minor, likely due to the recent facelift.
The most noticeable change for the 2025 Yaris GR Sport is the introduction of the exclusive Storm Grey color, available in both monotone and bi-tone (with a black roof) options. Additionally, the model now rides on a new set of 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels with a matte finish.
Inside the cabin, the GR Sport retains its sporty character with red stitching and Gun Metal Gray accents. However, the GR Sport emblems have been subtly redesigned and are now embossed on the headrests. The larger 10.5-inch infotainment display and improved ADAS suite, introduced during the 2023 facelift, remain unchanged.
For the standard Yaris lineup, the only update for 2025 is the addition of a new Forest Green color option.
Under the hood, the Yaris continues to offer its electrified powertrain options, including the Hybrid 115 and Hybrid 130 engines. The GR Sport exclusively features the more powerful Hybrid 130 setup, which combines a 1.5-liter engine with dual electric motors to deliver a combined output of 129 horsepower.
The GR Sport trim differentiates itself from the standard Yaris with a sportier chassis setup, featuring tweaked dampers and rear springs, additional underfloor bracing, and a re-tuned steering system.
Production of the 2025 Toyota Yaris and Yaris GR Sport is set to commence in February 2025, with pricing details to be announced closer to the market launch. While significant price increases are not expected, minor adjustments may occur.
