BYD China recently released photos of its new product the E9 that will be built on the same platform as the Han EV that is replaced BYDs old LOGO platform. BYD e9s design is very similar to the latest Audi A6L, especially on the grille and headlights. It is also similar to Han but now it has a BYD logo on the grille.
At the rear, the slim light bar and LED taillights remind Audi A6 while there is a “Build Your dreams” logo under the light bar.
Inside the cabin, BYD e9 is almost the same as BYD Han EV with a rotatable 15.6-inch touchscreen equipped with DiLink 3.0 intelligent network connection system.
On the technical side, the BYD e9 has come with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor with 222 hp and 330 nm of torque. The e9 can hit 100 kph in 7.9 seconds. The electric motor is supplied by a lithium-ion battery pack. For now, there are no more details about BYD e9 until its official release.
