Manhart just unveiled their final vehicle with an AMG Biturbo V8 engine. The Manhart CR 700 Last Edition model is based on the C63, which is currently an older model. Power is set at 702 hp and 920 Nm, as the name suggests.
The V8-powered Mercedes-AMG C63 S, on which the CR 700 is based, produced 503 horsepower and 698 pound-feet of torque in stock form. The CR700 increased those numbers by 199 horsepower and 220 pound-feet. To accomplish such numbers, Manhart isn't merely turning up the Biturbo engine's boost.
A carbon intake, updated turbos, and an upgraded intercooler are all part of the tuner's proprietary Turbo Performance Kit that is installed. The ECU is then tuned by Manhart to make the most of the new components. Manhart claims that in order to handle the power, the transmission was modified.
Customers will have the choice between two downpipe options: Sport units with 200-cell catalytic converters or Race units without any catalytic converters at all.
Due to these modifications, the Manhart CR 700 Last Edition can accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h in just 5.5 seconds, over 3 seconds quicker than the regular C63. H&R coil springs with height adjustment have been installed to improve the suspension.
Last but not least, the Manhart Concave One wheels are 920 inches in the front and 10.520 inches in the back. Tires with section widths of 255 and 275 are wrapped around those wheels.
At first glance, the CR 700 Last Edition has all the Manhart design cues, like the body's gold stripe and black paint, but customers can alter the exterior in any way they choose. The cost has not yet been made public.
