Denza is a new brand in China that was established by Daimler and BYD in a 50:50 joint venture and its first new model is a crossover that is called Denza X. While the brand itself is not that new and it was established in 2010 but there were many years that Denza didn't introduce any new car and since 2010 the only model available was Denza 500.
Actually, Denza X unveiled in 2019 and it will soon enter the production line and then the Chinese market. As it will use many shared parts with Mercedes cars, Daimler CEO Ola Kallenius believes that Denza X will be a successful model in the future.
The cash investment is behind us Now we look at how Denza develops and then we’ll make decisions
Denza X looks nice with a distinct exterior design. Inside the cabin, it is also modern and nice with a big touchscreen for the infotainment system.
About Denza X, it will be offered by two powertrains. The first model is a plug-in hybrid with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder internal combustion engine and pair of electric motors with a total output of 396 hp. This model can hit 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds which is pretty impressive for a crossover.
The other model is an all-electric model with a single electric motor that can produce 242 hp. This model has a 500 km of driving range.
