Honda has unveiled a limited-edition version of its Integra sedan and hatchback for the Chinese market, dubbed the "Anniversary Special Limited Edition." This special model boasts a sporty, race-inspired aesthetic that sets it apart from the standard Integra.

Introduced in 2021 by GAC-Honda as a sibling to the Dongfeng-Honda Civic, the Integra offers a slightly different styling and features while sharing the same underlying platform and interior. The addition of a hatchback body style in 2023 expanded the Integra lineup.

The Anniversary Special Limited Edition builds upon the Integra's foundation with a striking visual transformation. The car features eye-catching red and black decals, along with bold red stripes that adorn the doors, hood, and roof. To complete the sporty look, the model is equipped with side mirrors that closely resemble those found on the high-performance Civic Type R. While these enhancements create a visually appealing package, the underlying body and wheel design remain unchanged from the standard Integra. Interestingly, Honda opted not to incorporate a performance-oriented body kit from its tuning arm, Mugen, which would have further elevated the car's sporty character.

Inside the cabin, the red and black theme continues with matching accents on the dashboard and door panels. The special edition also comes equipped with a premium 12-speaker Bose audio system to enhance the driving experience. To add an extra touch of exclusivity, Honda is offering a range of Integra-branded accessories, including a stylish suitcase, backpack, and water bottle.

Powertrain options for the Anniversary Special Limited Edition mirror those of the standard Integra. Buyers can choose between a turbocharged 1.5-liter VTEC engine producing 180 horsepower or a more fuel-efficient 2.0-liter self-charging hybrid system. Both powertrains channel their output to the front wheels through a CVT transmission, with a six-speed manual gearbox available for the gasoline-powered model.

The Honda Integra Anniversary Special Limited Edition is now available for order in China at a modest premium of ¥1,688 over the standard model. With production limited to a specific number of units, this special edition is expected to be a sought-after choice for enthusiasts looking to add a touch of excitement to their Integra.

While the Anniversary Special Limited Edition focuses primarily on cosmetic enhancements, it successfully transforms the Integra into a more visually appealing and engaging proposition. However, for those seeking a truly performance-oriented Integra, the absence of a more aggressive body kit and performance upgrades might be a disappointment.

Honda Integra Anniversary Special Limited Edition offers a stylish and distinctive option for Chinese consumers who desire a touch of racing flair without compromising the Integra's core characteristics.
