Jeep Renegade Lineup Has Been Updated For 2023

The 2023 Renegade, which comes with a number of minor improvements, was unveiled by Jeep. The deletion of the base Sport trim is one of the greatest improvements. This trim's starting price was $24,695, and it was the only one with front-wheel drive that was offered.

The rest of the changes are minor, such as a new Detonator Yellow paint color and a new Latitude Premium Group that includes an eight-way power driver's seat, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. An auto-dimming rearview mirror, a windshield wiper deicer, roof rails, and cornering fog lights are all included in the package.

Moving up the trim ladder, the Renegade Limited now includes adaptive cruise control as standard. Furthermore, the model also includes a new High Altitude Package that includes Gloss Black badging, Neutral Grey accents, and 19-inch Granite Crystal aluminum wheels.

Full LED exterior lighting, automatic high-beam headlights, a windshield wiper deicer, ParkSense front/rear parking sensors, and parallel/perpendicular park assist are among the Limited Elite Group's list of available features.

The tough Renegade Trailhawk now comes with a Premium Lighting Group that includes full LED outside lights, which is the last but not least. A leather interior, an eight-way power driver's seat, and a heated steering wheel are included as part of the Elite Group. A windshield wiper deicer and heated front seats are also included in the package.

The 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine under the hood of each Renegade generates 177 horsepower and 284 Nm of torque. It has a nine-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive as standard.

Although Jeep hasn't yet disclosed the price for the 2023 model, the Sport's deletion will probably result in sticker shock given that the base trim for the 2023 Renegade Latitude started at $29,540 in 2022.
