Jeep Unveils Two New Wagoneer Editions

Author: |

A few months after debuting the Wagoneer Overland at the New York Auto Show, Jeep has introduced two new special edition models that emphasize both premium features and bold styling. These new variants—though positioned as luxurious—come with steep price tags, each exceeding $75,000. Despite this, Jeep aims to attract a wide range of buyers, including those who are considered “value-conscious.”

The first of the two new entries is the Wagoneer Limited, which starts at $76,535. Though that may seem high for a “value-focused” offering, Jeep justifies the price by enhancing the standard Series II trim with a number of upscale features and cosmetic upgrades. On the exterior, the Wagoneer Limited is fitted with body-colored fender flares, a tri-pane panoramic sunroof, and stylish 22-inch wheels. Additional visual enhancements include black lower fascias, chrome badging, and power-operated side steps, giving the SUV a more modern and refined appearance.

One of the more notable additions to this edition is the inclusion of a surround view camera system, which typically comes as part of the $3,845 Convenience Group. By bundling this equipment in, Jeep aims to provide a better overall value for the price-conscious luxury SUV shopper, despite the seemingly contradictory label.

The second offering is the more upscale Wagoneer Super, which draws heavily from the equipment list of the higher-end Grand Wagoneer. Priced from $82,535, this model features a range of design and performance enhancements. On the outside, the Super model boasts body-color fender flares, carbide headlights, and power side steps, along with a sleek contrasting black roof and a blackout appearance package. Unique 22-inch black-finished aluminum wheels add further distinction.

Inside the Wagoneer Super, buyers will discover a number of luxurious appointments, such as a 19-speaker McIntosh premium audio system, which is likely to impress audiophiles. Other cabin highlights include soft-touch wrapped surfaces and the same expansive tri-pane sunroof found in the Limited edition. While Jeep claims that the Super bundles in $3,000 worth of equipment, some may question its value—especially considering that for just $2,410 more, buyers could step up to the fully-fledged Grand Wagoneer.

Both the Wagoneer Limited and Wagoneer Super are available in short- and long-wheelbase configurations, and under the hood, each is powered by Jeep’s robust 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged Hurricane inline-six engine. This powertrain delivers an impressive 420 horsepower and 634 Nm of torque, ensuring that these luxury SUVs are not only stylish but also highly capable on the road.
